WHAT

• Freehand model a design of our choice using SolidWorks

• Must contain several functional moving components

• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on a component to analyze its stress and deformation under load

HOW

• Referenced 2D still images of the minion as well as videos of the car in action from the movie as a blueprint

• Utilized various surface and loft features and curve driven patterns to create the vehicle's body as well as path, limit, and gear mates to simulate its motion

RESULTS

• Gained comfortability with more complex SolidWorks modeling and analytical features (motion study/animation, static structural analysis simulation)
